coolum laneways 2015 was an art exhibition generated by young coolum artists, created to engage community to regard outdoor surfaces and laneways as viable artistic, educational and cultural spaces.
the exhibition, held in the lane next to coolart gallery consisted of four sections; year11 'lexicon', year11 'figure', year10 insects and year9 popart papier mache sculpture.
laneways is a collaborative mentoring project with local artists, businesses and coolum state high school art students and supported with a cultural development grant from scc. it was also part of the un-framed event
laneways2015, opened by dr. robyn burton-ree on september 19, had the display of insects and popart sculpture in the lane and the surrounding area. great work from
